How to recover your flash drive’s hidden files and folders yourself

I have received enough requests about retrieving memory disk files hidden by viruses. Usually, the problem occurs when a memory disk with files is inserted into a system with viruses and the viruses infect the hard drive and then turn the folders and files in the flash drive (memory disk) into shortcuts.

HOW TO FIX THIS

This is pretty simple to fix on windows system (Windows 7 OS upward), click on the windows button or windows start button on the desktop screen. Search for “command Prompt”, once the icon is displayed, right click it and open sadministrator.

Once your command prompt is opened, insert the infected drive, and check the drive letter ascribed to it by windows in the  “My Computer” interface. Put in the command attrib -h -r -s /s k:\*.*  into the command prompt and press enter. NOTE: substitute k: with your drives letter on the “My Computer interface”.

In the case above as displayed in the command screen, the drove letter is h. Check your drive in My Computer and open. Your files should be back.
